Book 1: The Godbone Blade — Published!

Behold: the majestic new vector of adventures, shenanigans, trap-filled jungle ruins, lung fungi, variant undead, titan snakes, nasty curses, animated stone cats, lavish wilderness descriptions, awkward flirting in front of your aunt, guys with vines for arms, fairly creepy blood goddess songs, mysterious pearlescent skeletons, saints who may be jerks, knights who are definitely jerks, hallucinogenic flowers, several sets of cultists, suspicious magical activities, uncomfortably sexy goddess nightmares, muralized mythology, doubly ancient buried secrets, and a blade made from an evil god’s arm-bone…

That I have most recently created.

Huzzah!

The actual description of the aforementioned book, The Godbone Blade, is as such:

Spy and jungle guide Zehuanali’s mission was simple. Stalk the Sword Order interlopers, determine their intentions within the cursed jungle, and steal their mysterious artifact. She wasn’t expecting to become bound to one of the Swords – nor to discover that the artifact is a weapon of god-slaying proportions. A weapon brought at the behest of a rogue noble House and meant to kill the Lady of the Waters, whose descent into madness and undeath has cursed the land.

Stuck with her unexpected accomplice, Zehuanali will have to weather both the jungle’s threats and the backstabbing politics of the cursed land in order to complete her mission. Because despite her madness, the Lady of the Waters cannot be allowed to die.

As goes the goddess, so goes the land.

This is the first book in a trilogy, which itself will be part of a larger series. The other two books of the trilogy, The Fading Saint and The Goddess Revenant, are complete and will be forthcoming shortly — as soon as I’ve run them through another beta reader and done all the formatting!

For the moment they’ll be just available on Amazon, first as e-books and then in print (as my speed of formatting permits). Mid-2026 I plan to port them over to Smashwords/Draft2Digital as well, which I have already done for all the War of Memory books.

I should definitely update the book/series pages on this blog… Hopefully I’ll get that done by the time the whole trilogy is released.

Anyway — huzzah! New works, new world, with more to come beyond these three books, plus more for the War of Memory world too. Happy belated Halloween!
