After making the world-maps, I realized that my previous Book 1 map didn’t sync up well with the ‘current-age’ map, so decided to redo it off the world-map template.

It’s still not entirely what I want, and very busy with all these labels, but the labels are on separate layers so I can strip them out when needed.  It’s also narrower, which makes it more suitable for insertion into an epub — the wider previous one was getting cut off about 3/4ths of the way along.

The older one had more blank space on the left side though, which I miss.  That’s why I decided to put the other countries’ names in the sidebar in the direction where they would be on the world-map, but I don’t know if that’s easily understood.  Sigh.
